A staff desktop app (Windows) with an API on Postgres — reception books and approves, doctors consult, the owner sees the money.
Appointments & scheduling
Department → doctor → date → slot booking with walk-ins and tokens. An active slot can't be double-booked — it's enforced in the database.
Patient records & history
Auto-generated MRN, phone de-duplication, and a doctor-linked visit timeline: complaint, notes, ICD-10, prescription, and follow-up.
Consultation notes
One consult record per visit — chief complaint, clinical notes, ICD-10, prescription — written only by the treating doctor.
Payments & receipts
Invoice at the snapshotted rate, record cash / card / wallet / bank, print a receipt, and cancel or refund with a configurable fee.
Finance & commission
Cash-basis finance for the owner — gross, commissions payable, net — per doctor and department, with CSV export.
Roles & access
Admin, Doctor, and Receptionist logins with role-scoped screens, audit-logged actions, and authenticator MFA for admin & reception.

Doctor's day
Each doctor runs an ordered queue — check-in, start, and complete, then open the consultation record.
Approval queue
Incoming patient requests are soft holds; staff approve or reject before the slot is claimed.
A patient app is on the way
The booking API already supports patient requests, browsing doctors by department, and post-visit reviews. The patient mobile app itself is not shipped yet — today Tabeeb is the staff desktop app.
